The scene: Barcelona, Spain – Happiest Hour
The players: Marco – Jessica – Sarah
After having previously studied abroad in Spain Marco decided, after graduation & a two month backpacking trip through Asia, to return for another visit. Once he arrived, he touched base with Sarah whom he had attended college with in New York.
Meanwhile, Jessica was also in Barcelona traveling and teaching English. She, along with some of her teacher friends made plans to get together…
Sarah invited Marco to a get together at a local spot, and that’s where the story begins:
They saw each other from across the room, and knew immediately… Not exactly. This relationship started with a fire. No, I don’t mean that figuratively.
After Sarah introduced Marco & Jessica, they continued to notice each other and coincidentally ended up in the kitchen at the same time to prep some pizza’s for the gathering.
Let me pause for a quick clarification. Marco is Italian.
Ok, let’s continue.
Marco realizes his pizza is smoking in the oven… Rather than own up to it, he tells Jess, ‘Your pizza is on fire.’ A flirtatious argument ensued.
Fast forward to a week later – Marco and Jessica spend every day for the next 10 months in Spain together falling in love.
This brings us to the destination wedding they hosted at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo, California. It was a gorgeous warm summer day with a little bit of a breeze – perfect.
The photos will leave you saying bellisima! Enjoy 😉
No, it’s not disco-inferno. The fellas are prepping for the surprise flash-dance-mob at the reception 🙂
First look!
I’m sure I said something hilarious here 😉
Surprise wedding day jewelry is ALWAYS a good idea. Right ladies?
This group is definitely fond of jumping in the air for no apparent reason other than it’s fun!
Bellisima Jessica!
Towards the end of the first dance Marco & Jessica were pulled off the dance floor. Marco played it like he had no idea what was about to unfold…
Jessica was a teeny-tiny bit excited about there being a flash-mob on her wedding day 🙂
Top photo? Don’t ask… I didn’t.
Sarah! The girl who made it all happen. Well done little matchmaker!
