They met in a bar. They fell in love. They found their photographer. We took photos in a bar. Then came marriage. Then came photos!
Short, sweet, and to the point 😉
I actually met Caroline (Cako) & Mike through a friend who is a pretty snazzy photographer herself, Jennifer Murchison – aka ‘The Murch’ according to Cako 🙂
On our first meeting we totally hit it off and had a blast shooting their engagement session near downtown Fullerton. We wanted to capture the feel of their first meeting by starting at a bar and moving on from there. I LOVE the shots we captured. They’re totally unique, and turned out waaaaay more romantic than I originally thought they would be.
Enjoy!
I mean seriously, Cako with her leg up, Mike standing close… Lit from above by the skylight. That’s hot!
Moving on to the wedding day, Cako and all of her closest ladies got ready at her salon. Did I forget to mention she’s an amazing hairstylist? You should seriously check her out if you need to get your hair did – Click here.
Absolutely loved the posh bouquet holder Cako picked for her flowers. It was able to hold its’ own next to those shoes!
Love, love, loved this wall-quote in Cako’s salon!
Just a little smooch between 2 dudes on wedding day. No big deal.
Cako and Mike exchanged letters before they walked down the aisle. These shots of her reading his letter in the back of the limo may just be my favorite photos from her wedding 🙂
We all get shy sometimes, haha.
Ok, wait… THIS is my favorite shot 🙂
The bridesmaids weren’t impressed, but it’s ok Mike. There’s only 1 girl you need to impress for the rest of your days!
Cako had a connection to get us into the Catalina Verdugo Adobe gardens, and I’m SO glad she did because it was gorgeous!
From the Verdugo gardens we moved the party over to Impressions in Glendale, which is an amazing space. The lighting, the chandeliers and Cako’s decor set the mood, and the staff made sure everyone was well attended to.
That guy has the moves like Jagger, seriously.
Ok, ok. THIS is my favorite photo from the night! Save the best for last, right?
