Alex and Jenna…. Jenna and Alex… Where do I begin?
Sometimes you meet people that you just know right off the bat, are good people. The kind you want to be around, to call ‘friend’. That’s how I feel about these two kiddos!
Those that know me know that the ticket to my heart is through my stomach (pretty much every guy, right?). Well Jenna is an AMAZING baker. In fact she’s opening her own store in Whittier! (Stay tuned for grand opening announcements). And YES, she’s THAT good. So needless to say, Jenna continues to have me at her mercy with the mere mention of her delectable desserts 😉
So of course I had to absolutely rock her socks off with amazing photos from her wedding at the Wrightwood Guest Ranch. Don’t get me wrong, I love wedding photography in Orange County, but a change of pace is always nice. Getting up into the mountains with the clean crisp air? Ahhhhh…. It was just what the doctor ordered!
To be honest… wedding photography for these two? Not hard. They are so dang in love that cuteness just oozes out of them. It made for an easy day for me! Well…. as easy as it gets anyway 😉
Aside from having her limo break down while heading up the hill to the venue, (true story) her wedding day couldn’t have gone any more wonderfully! With Jenna’s graphic design background, and her mad baking skills, her boutique wedding touches were apparent down to every last detail. So enjoy the photos, details, and drool over the fact that I got to taste those yummy desserts and you didn’t!
Ok, ok, that was mean. You can check in with Simply Irresistible Cakes & Catering and taste for yourself 🙂
Oh, and while you’re out there visiting websites, be sure to check out Wrightwood Guest Ranch. The venue was beautiful, the staff were attentive. You can’t ask for more!
Ok, once again – Enjoy the photos!
This just shows how tough the guys have it on the big day. PBR, Jack Daniels, throw on some sneakers and show up to get hitched…
Hey now, we’re manly men. We’re secure! Well, except for that guy…
Like I said, be jealous. I’m not going to lie – I tasted all of them, and they were all scrumtrulescent!
How about that flower girl? Do they get any cuter? – The answer is ‘no’, they do not.
I love how the family was able to include this soldier who wasn’t able to attend the wedding. Now he gets to be in the photos!
Alex gave me this little look right after he slipped the ring on Jenna’s finger. He look like a happy fella to me!
Epic bridal party entrances. We had gunslingers, some mad air-guitar skills, some…. whatever they’re doing in the upper right corner…. ?
And leave it to Alex and Jenna to walk in like studs, poppin’ collars and brushing the shoulders…
Jenna caught herself a 200 pounder on her wedding day. I think she’s going to keep him.
Alex’s brother brought it! Seriously, nominated for best best-man speech EVER. There were no dry eyes.
This moment courtesy of ‘Top Gun’. The guys decided to serenade the bride with their (completely sober) version of ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’. It was epic.
I’ve seen some funny family traditions over the many weddings I’ve photographed, but this is the first time I’ve seen an entire family dance to the 12 Days of Christmas. Loved it!
Bon Jovi – Livin’ on a Prayer – Center Photo. Don’t judge, you know it happens to all of us!
Aaaaaand they lived happily ever after!
Brian… these are absolutely spectacular! Not that I EVER doubted you even for a second, but holy cow, they are far more than I could ever have dreamed of. Thank you so much for capturing the happiness and joy of our wedding day! We could not have found a better photographer. Everything is just spectacular!! A million thank yous is just not enough. You are so very talented and Alex and are so blessed you not only have found you, but can also call your friend! I am just in pure awe!
You are oh-so-welcome my dear! Thank you for such lovely comments 🙂
Brian… As the mother-of-the bride, I can’t thank you enough for your phenomenal talent at capturing the pure joy that resonated throughout Jenna and Alex’s wedding. Your pictures are extraordinary and beyond anything we could have hoped for. You did such an incredible, professional job from beginning to end. We are very grateful for your amazing work and can’t wait to see the rest of your creations. You are the best!
